We had over 90 participants show up for hands on skills, fundamentals, leadership talks with college athletes who are former PR players, a Bear Ball championship complete with a run through the Mama Bear tunnel, and a slip and slide with the Monument Fire Dept spraying off our athletes to top it all off! President- Megghan St. Aubyn
Megghan is mom to Asher (current Freshman), Lyla, and Jackson, and wife to Coach Saint. She has been actively involved with BFCOM since 2019, serving as Treasurer (2020-2022, 2025) and Feed the Bears Coordinator (2021-2022), Freshman Class Liaison (2025) and Rock the Stadium co-chair (2025). She is passionate about the positive impact BFCOM has on the PR football program and is excited to build a strong community among parents, players, and coaches this season. Go Bears!
Vice President- Cassey Elliott
Cassey has been involved with BFCOM since2022, and is mom to players Brody and Cal, and is wife to coach Elliott. Cassey has held many roles in BFCOM to include running social media, co-chairing Feed the Bears in 2024 and 2025, co-chairing Rock the Stadium fundraiser in 2025, and is a PROUD Mama Bear Night sponsor. Cassey is excited to be a part of this incredible BFCOM organization!
Secretary- Holly Newman
Holly has mostly lived in the volleyball world with her daughter that graduated from PR in 2025.
She is excited to join the football world as she is a big football fan in general. Her son JJ Newman is a freshman . She is excited to help BFCOM as secretary and help all parents feel part of the Palmer Ridge family.
Treasurer- Jenn Batta
Jenn has been a part of BFCOM since 2022. Her oldest son, Avery, graduated in 2025 and Brody is a current Sophomore. She is excited to take on a more involved role as Treasurer and continue to help BFCOM support our coaches and players.

Let’s take a minute to thank our FEED THE BEARS CREW! Each week our team of Mama Bears prepares a team meal that keeps our athletes fueled and ready to compete. This is a MAJOR component of BFCOM’s fundraising efforts- this season we have budgeted to spend $15,000 to feed our boys. If you take a look around, very few programs have the ability to provide a meal to their athletes like our PR Bears get. So far this season we have provided:

Mama Bear Night is Friday and we are doing something special to honor one of our original Mama Bears, Michelle Ambrose. Michelle’s life was tragically cut short in January 2012. Michelle was the beloved wife of Jim and loving mother to Quinn and Collin, who both played football at PR. In 2012, the Ambrose Family established a memorial scholarship through BFCOM to honor her memory, her passion for education, and her dedication to PR Football. Each year, college-bound Palmer Ridge Football Seniors are invited to apply for the Michelle Ambrose Memorial scholarship. Past recipients exemplify leadership on the field, passion in life, and commitment to education. All qualities Michelle valued.

Garry Berry Stadium utilizes cashless gate entry. Spectators are required to purchase tickets online at GoFan (QR Code Attached) or tickets will be sold at the gates and credit cards will be the ONLY method of payment. All spectators are asked to purchase tickets before arriving.
Garry Berry Stadium also utilizes a clear bag policy. All guests entering the stadium must have their belongings in a clear, plastic bag that is 12” by 12” or smaller. I have attached their policy to this email for you to view as well.
Gates for Spectators will open at 5:30pm and we will be on the West Sideline. Spectators will NOT be able to go back and forth from the East to West sideline of the Stadium. Once you have entered the gates on either the home or away side, you will stay on that side for the duration of the game.

ATTENTION ALL INCOMING FRESHMAN! May 1st is the official start date of your eligibility to train with the team for the 2025 season. The following training opportunities are scheduled:
MORNING WEIGHT TRAINING - Report time is 5:55 AM. We will release you with plenty of time to get to your respective middle school. WEIGHT TRAINING is every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until we start our summer routine.
MONDAY NIGHT PRACTICE- incoming freshman are highly encouraged to attend on May 5 for our final Spring practice. Report time is 5:35 PM at the PR GYM. Please wear sneakers and bring cleats. Players will be released promptly at 8 PM. You will be sent home with information regarding upcoming parent meetings, summer schedule, etc.
