The Bears Football Club of Monument is a non-profit organization 501(C) (3), established in 2010, with the purpose of supporting the Palmer Ridge Football Program as well as youth football programs in the Monument, CO area.
- Our mission statement is to Honor Our Past, Protect Our Future, and as such, our funding priorities are to outfit Palmer Ridge Football athletes with cutting edge safety equipment, medical equipment and away game transportation/lodging.
- We also work towards the goal of building relationships and strong community among the parents and alumni, and fostering opportunities for the athletes to gel as a team.

Frequently Asked Questions
When can rising Freshman start practicing with the Bears?
CHSSA requires 8th grade students (soon to be Freshman) to wait to report to practices until May 1 of their 8th grade year. Additionally, coaches cannot communicate with incoming Freshman athletes until that date. Parents can contact the coaches to ask questions through Palmer Ridge High School. Any other questions are welcome to be emailed to BFCOM at palmerridgefootball@gmail.com and we (parents of football athletes) will try to help answer any questions.
What is the purpose of BFCOM?
The Bears Football Club of Monument exists to support Palmer Ridge Football. We are a group of football parents who raise money to make sure every player is safe and that the team has the equipment and support necessary to achieve its goals.
How does BFCOM differ from the Palmer Ridge High School Booster Club?
BFCOM is an independent organization that raises funds for the Palmer Ridge football team. The PRHS Booster Club exists to promote and support all CHSAA and PR sanctioned sports and activities.
What is the history of BFCOM?
BFCOM was founded in 2010 by a group of dedicated football parents to support the Palmer Ridge football program.
Who can be a part of BFCOM?
Parents and/or guardians of currently enrolled high school students actively participating in the Palmer Ridge football program. Parents and/or guardians of incoming freshman may participate in BFCOM as soon as their student has been approved and accepted enrollment at Palmer Ridge High School and is and is actively participating in off-season activities with the PR Football program.
How do I get involved with BFCOM?
How do I get involved with BFCOM? BFCOM meetings are typically held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Make sure to join our e-mail list to stay informed on meeting times and locations. We hope to see you there!
