- Yes! BFCOM is a 501C3 and when you make a donation (one time or recurring) we will send you an electronic receipt.
When can rising Freshman start practicing with the Bears?
- CHSSA requires 8th grade students (soon to be Freshman) to wait to report to practices until May 1 of their 8th grade year. Additionally, coaches cannot communicate with incoming Freshman athletes until that date. Parents can contact the coaches to ask questions through Palmer Ridge High School. Any other questions are welcome to be emailed to BFCOM at palmerridgefootball@gmail.com and we (parents of football athletes) will try to help answer any questions.
What is the purpose of BFCOM?
- BFCOM is a booster club of parent volunteers that raises money to continuously improve safety equipment for the football players at PRHS, 9th-12th grade. We also provide funds to feed the athletes on game day and create social events for families of football athletes to build community. Coach Armentrout is a big proponent of community service, so BFCOM partners with the football program to provide opportunities for the football athletes and other PRHS students to serve the greater Monument/Colorado Springs community.
How does BFCOM differ from the Palmer Ridge High School Booster Club?
- BFCOM raises funds exclusively to be used for the Palmer Ridge Football Program focusing on player safety and community building.
What is the history of BFCOM?
- BFCOM was founded in 2008 by Chuck and Lori Farmer as a nonprofit for football parent volunteers to support the Palmer Ridge Football Program.
Who can be a part of BFCOM?
- All football player Parents, Grandparents, and Family Members are Welcome to join.
